Japanese style hotel you must try
Sadachiyo Ryokan in Tokyo.
This is a Japanese style hotel ( Ryokan ) one of the must try when you visit Japan.
Sadachiyo has independent, western style bathroom and toilet for each rooms. And each rooms are set up with Japanese traditional flooring called Tatami. With traditional bathing space, washoku, and traditional entertainment.

Each rooms are equipped with traditional flooring, Tatami. So, you get sleep with traditional bedding, Futon.
For anyone, wish to experience Japaneseness, this place should give you quite mystical time.
As much as I'm aware, there are at least 4 different looking type of rooms and they look variantly.
Baths at Sadachiyo.
I guess I need to remind you this is NO onsen ( Hot spring ). There are two types of shared bathing space available. ( Wooden base and Stone base ). Make sure to wash your body before stepping into this shared bath.
Food in Sadachiyo.
Breakfast and dinners are served at Sadachiyo. These are not just old-looking Japanese food. The recipe is based on Onihei Hankacho, well known novel written by Shotaro Ikenami. This is envy to whom used to read his novel.
