Capsule hotel search
Short on budget? That's ME when I'm traveling. I'd rather spend on food and things to buy in a strange land, yes I would. Unless you are Rockefeller, saving money during your trip is a issue that clinging to you.
Staying at "capsule hotel" in Japan is one option.
The question is "where" would be the best.
There are tons of web designed for searching capsule hotels but most of them are in Japanese. I imagined they aren't going to be much help to you guys.
Here are websites I found fairly convenient finding capsule hotels.
1. Capsure Hotel Japan.com
This web is not designed to book directly from their web. You need to visit each capsule hotel's web to complete your booking.
What I thought convenient about this web is google translation on it for Spanish, French, Portuguese, English, Korean, and Chinese. (And of course Japanese.)
Just click on pull-down menu in the header to select language.
After selecting the language, it takes a bit while to load again. Wait for the page to reload every time you open or access a new page.
Some of their banners and icons will not be translated because those are identified as image data. But shouldn't be much of a problem.
There are prices of each capsule hotel's in shown pages, but remember the prices may be changed over the time.
2. Off to ON.com
Personally, I would recommend this web page because it has more sophisticated user interface and information shown is more up to date. This web supports English and Japanese, that is why put this in No.2.
After selecting a hotel, you will be redirected to expedia.co.jp. Reliable. At this moment, expedia doesn't seem to be allowing users to search "capsules only". So, would be nice to see all in one list.
